Corporate Social Responsibility at LLA

Key personnel in LLA are directly responsible for educational programmes in conservation, for working with school children and youth, in cultural mapping and in conducting training and capacity building for the better management and interpretation of historic sites. The practice has also actively been involved in the creation of barrier free pedestrian access-ways and making provisions for the elderly and disabled- LLA has vigorously pursued this approach in its urban design and upgrading projects.

Directors of the firm have been personally involved in promoting and sponsoring street art and sculpture and in improving civic amenities in the city. Benchmark standards have been set with barrier free walkways, Braille blocks, ramps, relocation and redesign amenities with a view to comfort, shade, easy maintenance and ultimately the making of friendlier city with interaction facilitated and access for all. Historic markers and information plaques have also been designed to facilitate improved interpretation of historic city.
