An attempt to provide Indigo its deserved spotlight, its interior design sets it apart from the Cheong Fatt Tze Mansion it resides in. The divergence in style is important to ensure that there is a balance in the design, allowing people to appreciate the unique style of the Blue Mansion in moderation. The approach taken to adorn the dining area is a harmonious blend of preserving historical cultures while infusing a touch of contemporary allure. Among the essence of the past are a Chinese carpet elegantly displayed on the wall—accompanied by a captivating mural. Additionally, the space features two Victorian mirrors artfully recreated in Rajasthan, as well as lanterns crafted from the cherished heritage material, rattan.
