/ Placemaking Project Name Location Scope Status SMSQ marks a significant milestone as our most prodigious and largest office interiors fit-out. With a footprint equivalent to 44 basketball courts or an aircraft hangar housing 2 Jumbo jets. The project houses three main business units across two and a half floors, presenting a unique challenge in managing office internal spaces. In collaboration with designers from Singapore – HASSELL, the design concept revolved around the innovative idea of “City Living within the Office.” This approach was both humble and honest, aiming to create a city living experience within the vast office setup, seamlessly integrating urban elements into the workspace to enhance functionality and ambiance. A major challenge was integrating all the business unit modules within the expansive office setup. This required meticulous planning to ensure efficient arrangement and accommodate potential future expansion, allowing the design to evolve with the business’s needs. Working remotely due to lockdowns, added another layer of complexity, with significant turnaround times needed for reviewing designs, services, and site settings. Despite these challenges, the project turned out to be a satisfying journey, with the final result reflecting our dedication and careful planning throughout the process.
