Project Semaian: The Future of Food
SEMAIAN is an ongoing project by LLA, an aquaponics urban farming located at the humble 21m2 space behind our studio.Introduced in June 2019, our multiple successful harvests brought about generous amount of pesticide-free vegetables shared amongst staff members and local community.
What is Aquaponics?
Aquaponics is a closed loop sustainable method that combines aquaculture with hydroponics in a symbiotic environment. The system’s universal design allows for a space-saving, water-saving, and pesticide free conditions for an all-organic cultivation of plants.
