Our adventure with the flatpack international conglomerate materialised when they set their eyes in Batu Kawan, Penang. IKANO Group (IKEA Southeast Asia and Mexico) alongside their joint-venture partner, Aspen Group, the ambitious Aspen Vision City Master Plan emerged, creating a catalytic impact in the entire northern region. Within 3 short years from its inception, IKEA Batu Kawan Store opened its doors and became one of the most visited destinations within the region.

From then on, LLA’s exposure and growth with IKANO had been steady and fulfilling. We pivoted and persevered through global challenges and through this process, pride ourselves to be their Specialized Delivery Partner. By full immersion into ‘Architecture, The IKEA Way’, LLA now possesses the skillset and know-how to provide value added services and go beyond the realms of architecture.

We played varying roles in each of the projects undertaken, with the aid of technology, geographical boundaries had dissipated, enabling us to execute projects across borders. Our involvement includes pre-development feasibility studies to detailed project and construction management during execution stage. The stringent ‘do-it-right’ policies ranging from design logics, fire life safety and construction quality at all stages of works set these projects apart from many mainstream commercial/retail establishments.
