The Penang Hill Station

At 730m above sea level, the project seeks to combine both ecological and experiential approach to address the ever-evolving needs of spatial expansion within a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and Historic Cultural Landscape of Penang Hill. The Penang Hill Station, a GBI Gold initiative, is a precinct development agenda that promotes meticulous & sensitive architectural solutions to enhancing visitor experience, maximizing stunning views and resolving space needs. Extensive soft and hard landscaping are introduced to augment the hilltop forest experience. A skybridge and three viewing decks with diverse gardens at varying heights provide changing panoramic vistas while two additional platforms at the lower level allow rest under natural forest shading.
