Our collaboration with FARM, a cross-disciplinary studio from Singapore, gave the historic three-storey shophouse turned boutique hotel, 88 Armenian, a new lease of life. Restored with respect to the site’s history and heritage conservation standards, we ensured that appropriate materials and methods were used to retain its local soul. With a good balance of high-end finishings and a central airwell to enhance natural light flow, the hotel radiates modern luxury without forgoing its authenticity and vibrant history.
